Horry County Fire Rescue is a full-service emergency response agency, consisting both of Fire and EMS service, protecting the unincorporated areas of Horry County as well as Medical coverage in the incorporated municipalities. Horry County holds one of the largest tourist destinations in the country, Myrtle Beach. Horry County has mutual and automatic aid agreements with all area municipalities.
