Volunteer Application Process

Horry County Fire Rescue is one of the largest Fire Rescue departments in the state of South Carolina, and as the demand for our services increase the need for volunteers to compliment our excellent staff also increases. We offer multiple ways you can serve our department and your community; you can serve in the Junior Firefighter program, or as a Support Volunteer, Support Operations Volunteer, Emergency Medical Services Volunteer, Volunteer Driver Operator or Volunteer Firefighter. 

So if you are at least 16 years old or older, interested, and looking for a challenge, Horry County Fire Rescue is the place for you.
