RSI Training is Here!
Horry County Fire Rescue will begin training sessions in Rapid Sequence Induction (Intubation) beginning on March 9th at 09:00hrs. Classes will be held for the next three Tuesday and have a maximum class limit of 12 students per class. Future class scheduling will be dependant on participation in these initial offerings. Go to "Training Division" and then click on "Medical Training" to sign up for one of these initial classes. Classes will begin promptly at 09:00hrs and should be over by 14:00hrs. The class will be taught by Omniflight staff and is being offered on a first-come-first-registered basis. Students will not be paid for their attendance. The basis of any RSI program is training! You asked for it, here it is!
Emergency Medical Technician-Basic
We are still planning our January/February start date for our next EMT-B class. A Compass score is required for entrance into the class. As usual, those individuals who score the highest on the Compass Test are the first people offered the training.
